I mentioned being made GM of our guild, well the old gm is a great guy and is still around on several toons even though his main is on another server now. He’s still the person I go to with questions and such, so guess how much I freaked out yesterday when I logged in and went to drop some stuff in the bank, and there he was emptying all the high end items from it. I sent him a quick WTF? and he promptly logged out. I had a gut feeling on this one.
I got a Bliz GM involved immediately, and his account was locked. I questioned the person on the other end of the account was the person I knew. After much round and round with was it a hack or did he screw us babbling and second guessing from the majority of members, it was determined that his account had been hacked. Hopefully everything will get replaced and sorted out. The bad part is, it’s not our loss of guild items that upset me. It was the hacker gutting all of the guy’s toons. He had just swapped servers because he had the opportunity to run with a guild doing some serious end game content. Life sucks sometimes.
There’s nothing like guilt tripping a 13 year old into helping with yard work. Ok, there’s nothing like threatening the disconnection of the computer, xbox, playstation, and removal of a psp to make a child claim to love helping you in the yard.
I procrastinate on a lot of things, this blog included. I’ve had a couple bags of mulch and some edging materials all ready to clean up the front of the house. We have holly bushes that were planted when we moved in. Personally I would love to rip them up and put something else in their place, but with water restrictions and my black thumb, I keep telling myself that these are ok, and more importantly, they are alive.
I would post the pic, but it’s going to have to wait. The kid took the camera on the trip with his dad and it appears that the cable is over there and didn’t make it back home. So just imagine lots of mulch, no weeds and some nice brown stone edging for now.
I did a quick run to the grocery store this morning, because when I go by myself, I spend a lot less than when the whole family goes. It was a grab what we need until we do a big shop over the weekend, so basically I went in for bread, milk and some veggies. We drink a lot of tea, I think mostly in part to the husband being English and genetically conditioned to need the substance more than air. We shlep to the not so local World Market to pick up PG Tips on a regular basis. That’s another place where it is better for only one person to run in, grab the item we went for and leave quickly.
To get to the point, I was in Kroger this morning and guess what they had on the shelf? It starts with P…
I can now grab tea less than a mile from my house and not risk having to buy all the other things that I don’t need but want. I called my husband about it, it was that exciting. Gods I need to get out more.
