I realized something this morning as I was trying to beat ask my kid to help out mowing the yard. I know his dad has him do a bunch of stuff over there and I hate getting double duty for him, and it’s an excuse for me to say I did some kind of exercise during the day. Anyway…
I got him to mow the front yard last week and I watched what he did. Now I remember as a kid we had a huge front yard and back, and to get over the boredom of walking back and forth we used to cut it into quarters or triangles or just run in circles. This used to piss off my dad to no end, but eventually he learned that it was easier and faster to do it himself most of the time. I’m doing the same thing now.
The kid can do the back, it’s fenced in and no one but us sees it and I don’t really care how he does it. The front yard is going to stay mine, because it bugs the living OCD get out the edger and even that shit out part of me.

Comments Offsomeone doing vid interviews about social media that people use. I’ll get a link at some point when it’s done. Just wanted to say I suck at advertising because I can’t remember urls at all. I am way too dependent on my rss list anymore. I think that’s part of why I am thinking of the redesign here, I want to get back do doing all this stuff myself and being a bit more in touch like I used to “back in the day” you know, when we hand added every link in a blog roll and stole html fucker! Yeah, it’s like that.
