I completely forgot to plug this early because I have no idea what time or day it is. Everyone is home and it just throws me for a loop. No it’s not because I’m old, it’s because I’m set on a schedule and the holidays make me crazy. So, short notice, but notice none the less….The December Silver Scream Spookshow feature is…..
The husband is home until the 2nd I think, and the kid doesn’t go back to school until the7th, I love them both dearly, but I’m ready to have my mornings back to myself thank you. Things have been uneventful, or at least unblog worthy over the past few days. I have pictures that I should probably put in the galleries and things to write about, but it’s the holidays and I can’t be fussed to get it done. Staying up until 3am, getting up at 8am and then taking a nap mid day…..feels like slacker college days. I’ll get things sorted out and do something worthwhile later.
Since Sixty tagged me, I guess I should get busy on this one. Being I’m still dealing with the whole combined Christmas/birthday thing it’s probably for the best that I don’t think too hard.

1. Wrapping or gift bags? If it fits in a bag, it goes in a bag because I’m lazy and hate wrapping
2. Real or artificial tree? Fake
3. When do you put up the tree? If family is coming here, I’ll get it up right after Thanksgiving, if not, then it might make it up before the big day, or not. This year I didn’t bother with a tree because we went to my parents for the holiday.
4. When do you take the tree down? When I get around to it, which is why I didn’t bother putting one up.
5. Do you like eggnog? Yep, but not drinking any this year….diet ;/
6. Favorite gift received as a child? My brother and I got a complete Planet of the Apes village one year, think we played with that more than anything.
7. Do you have a nativity scene? No.
8. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? This year, I got a subscription to Reader’s Digest from a friend that I haven’t seen in 2 years. WTF?
9. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail, I have most of them sent, but there are a few odd ones that usually get forgotten
10. Favorite Christmas Movie? “A Christmas Story”
11. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I can start around August, depends on seeing things that I know people would like, but there’s always at least one last minute thing that I have to run out and get or finish.
12. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Chocolate covered cherries. My grandfather used to buy us each a box of them for the holidays, and it’s stuck with me.
13. Clear lights or colored on the tree? clear
14. Favorite Christmas song? I really don’t have one, I worked in a small radio station when I was in high school and had to work the Christmas shift two years in a row. I really don’t want to hear that stuff and avoid it if at all possible.
