I almost forgot about the Spook Show again. Ok, I didn’t really, I’ve been telling everyone here locally about it but I forgot you slackers that live to far away to do anything about it.
So in a sense of fair play and making you all realize what a cool thing you’re missing, I present the film of the month…. King Kong!! This is so going to rock.
I have to say this was the best show ever! These guys get better every month and the theater has more people every time as well. I ended up heading out to the lobby for popcorn just as the film started and ran into Morte. We talked for a few about the fact that when we were all kids there was either a Saturday afternoon or midnight movie on tv with some kind of spooky host, be it Elvira or Dr. Shock, and that kids today don’t have anything like that, at least around here. I’ve thrown a few all of the clips up on YouTube, but some of the segments are a bit long so I’ll host them here for download as well.
