1. I graduated from high school in 1984 and found humor in it – now I wonder
  2. I married the guy I dated my senior year, that lasted eight years and the only things I got were an amazing kid and the knowledge that people change in ways that you would never expect
  3. The first thing I did when I moved away from home and into my own place was to get a cat, because my father hates them and wouldn’t let me have one growing up
  4. I like cats and dogs equally, I have 2 of the first and 3 of the second
  5. I live in the southern U.S.
  6. My husband is English
  7. I found him on the internet
  8. Our first conversation was the merits of blunt over edged weapons….I knew I was going to keep this one
  9. I love playing computer games
  10. I love knitting and spinning although I do more of the first than the second
  11. I usually have multiple projects going at once
  12. I think there might be a God, but I’m not sure
  13. I also think there may be what in scientific terms would be interdimensional sentient entities, but I like to think of them as faeries and I really hate when my keys disappear from the place where I know I left them and show up 30 minutes later in that exact spot.
  14. I have a strange sense of humor.
  15. I hope God has one too, if he exists. If not, I’m going to hell, if I believed there was one.
  16. Magic and science have a lot in common, but I think the wands add a nice touch.
  17. At 12, my kid speaks fluent Spanish, although I sometimes wonder why it was important to know how to say giant squid and moose.
  18. My kid shares my sense of humor.
  19. One of his teachers said something about selling children to the gypsies, my kid replied, "Mom said they wouldn’t take me." The teacher looked at him and said, "I can understand why."
  20. I think my kid has a great English teacher :)
  21. On a quiet day I can read a standard novel in less than 6 hours.
  22. I really don’t like people who insist on sharing their religious views on my doorstep at 10am on a Saturday morning.
  23. I have contemplated electrifying my doorbell on weekends
  24. I am still prone to begin sentences with "When I grow up."
  25. I used to write a bit of fiction and do some roleplaying online, now I play WoW.
  26. I’m starting to feel a need to write again and that’s a good thing.
  27. Most of the people I consider friends do not live in the same state as I do.
  28. I had to suck it up and get bifocals this year, I will not admit that it helps and that I have fewer headaches ever.
  29. I used to color my hair, now I’m going grey and have no intention of hiding it.
  30. We are one of about 20 houses in our neighborhood who celebrate Halloween. The rest of my neighbors have to go to bed early so they can be outside our houses at 10am on Saturdays.
  31. I swear a lot.
  32. I think sarcasm is a good thing.
  33. I sometimes wonder what happened to all the people that grew up in the same generation as myself that made them all become so indifferent to things that are going on in the world.
  34. I wonder where all the overly zealous christians came from and what made them that way. (I mean here the ones that used to go trick or treating as kids who now spout that Halloween is the Devil’s day.)
  35. I wonder what it will take for people to actually take responsibility for their own actions and stop blaming outside influences.
  36. Am I the only one left who’s not on meds?
