We’ve gone into slow down mode, school and work are getting the routines started up again, and we’re doing a bit more of the networking groups locally; so time has been short. That combined with the fact that I’m going through a writing slump and can’t be bothered to string more than 2 words together most days, it’s making posting a bit of a chore.
I still haven’t fully gotten over the pinched nerve which is keeping the knitting at a minimum. It’s probably the act itself that is keeping this lingering around longer than it should.
So rather than writing, I shall share music yet again. I wanted to put this one out there because the video is a stunning bit of work and I think the subject matter of the song hits home with most of us lately.
I’m going back to bed now. We’ve decided to start the fund for next year today, parking was excessive, and when buying a bunch of stuff driving down there is very convenient, because you can run out and throw stuff in the car. I think next year we’re thinking about getting a room for at least 2 nights just so we can have a place to take a break during the day. All in all it was much fun. We got to see a lot, but there were some people that we missed due to bad timing all around.
As the post below shows, I can nab live feeds on my phone. Yeah for ubergeekiness! I’m probably going to be making use of it during Dragon Con, as well as taking a ton of pics. I’m still partial to my camera vs the one in the phone, because of the quality, but I’m sure I’m going to be snapping both along the way.
Now I have to remember to carry my charger for the phone as well as all the other stuff I usually carry around with me, the knitting may have to take a back seat on this round. I’m hoping that taking the weekend away from the house is going to give my hand a rest. I’m still dealing with the pinched nerve, and yes I am still knitting and doing other stuff that I probably shouldn’t, but I have to get this stuff done.
