Finally got around to upgrading my os this morning. I’m happily running the newest ubuntu version and everything looks to be running fine. I still have the old stuff on a separate partition in case I blow something up, but I think I’ll be able to pull it out soon and then just use that section as my file storage.
Now the next step is to get up and running on all the web apps I need to learn. It’s one thing I’ve put off for some time, I’ve been using linux but still doing all my web work on the mac or in windows, so now I’ve decided to make the effort to get in and wrap my head around the tools I have here.
