No, I haven’t forgotten I have a blog, I just chose to ignore it after posting a ton of crap every day for so long. Instead, I’ve been knitting a bit, actually pulled out the wheel and did some spinning, and finally got my paladin to 70. I should probably screen shot some of the moments like that, but I couldn’t be bothered, I’ll get some up later.
The husband and I had a quiet weekend alone and headed off to see Iron Man, I agree with most of the reviews I’ve read, go see it, it’s well worth it. Today is going to be tv catch up day for me as the game is down. I have all of the current Dr. Who episodes to watch through, and the final on Torchwood, which I’ve been avoiding watching because honestly I don’t want to deal with it. I cry during commercials for pete’s sake, I don’t need this today.
I’ve been tossing around the idea of getting in a big batch of roving and dying up some different lots and trying to sell some. The problem I have, is if they turn out well, I never want to part with them. I may give it a try, I may not, it will depend on how much of the current projects I can get finished.

Where does one get roving anyway? My sister and I, who are both total dyeing whores, have talked about trying that, but haven’t had too much luck finding roving. Neither of us spin, another thing to try, she’s buying herself a small wheel. I’ll just watch from afar (really far as she lives in CA and I live in IL), she’s a fiber nut through and through.
Please post pictures if you end up dying some. That way I can live vicariously.

Hello Yarn’s store is a great place to get some if you want to try it, she also does basic spindle kits if you want to try some hand spinning.
I also order from Blue Goose Glen. They have a good selection and get stuff shipped out quickly. I’m probably going to hit one of these guys up for some merino and spend a few days dying in the next week or so.
