I’m going to have a pet that understands the concept of sleeping in, especially on New Year’s Day.  I should say something brilliant here, it is after all the first post of the year, but unfortunately I’m not that coherent yet.  We all stayed up last night, playing games, watching comedy shows and generally goofing off.  I’ll give the kid credit for sitting down with us for a bit and giving up some xbox time for family.  Maybe it was the threat of death that did it, but I’d like to think he did it because he wanted to.

Best of wishes to everyone as we start off yet another year of insanity.  I’m not going to bother with the whole resolution stuff, because frankly, it never sticks.  Everyone has the best of intentions for at least a week or so before it all goes to hell.  However, I have set myself up to be a part of Blog365, that means every day this year you can expect some kind of mindless content around here.  We’ll see how long that lasts.
