I just got a phone call, and I should be nice and just laugh uncontrollably on my own floor, but I won’t. The actual question was:
If I go to Europe and save a file there or download something, can I save it to a memory stick and bring it back here?
I know, you’re shaking your head in disbelief and saying to yourself, yes there are are total technological inept people in the world, but look at this question again knowing that the person who asked it has an advanced university degree and we’re not talking Bob’s University here, I mean like a school that starts with H and ends with arvard.
I wonder how some people can get out of bed and get dressed in the morning, really I do. I don’t care how smart you are on a given subject, basic computer skills are a must anymore, we are surrounded by them. How do you use technology every day and not get it.

I’m Kate’s sister, she sent me here.
I so agree with you about tech illiteracy, its like people look at their computer and assume it is too magical to actually try to figure out themselves.
Fortunately, it is possible to cash in on this. Not that I have figured out how, but it seems like a good idea. I’m too busy surfing.
